Three Ways To Join Indian Army for Girls

As we are seeing now-a-days that  three of boys got selected from Uttrakhand as an Army Officer. For boys we all know the process how to qualify for Indian Army.

                

                  But for girls many of us don't even know how they can apply for Indian Army. In past we can see that only male candidates were allowed in Indian Army. But from 1992, the Indian Army have involved the women in Officer  Rank.

Three ways to join Indian Army for girls:-

1. UPSC Entry 

2. Non UPSC 

3. Technicial Entry

So these 3 entries can be applied only after completing graduation.

Now let's talk about these 3 entries:

1. UPSC Entry: Girls can join this by Sort Service Commission. It is non-techinal only. They can apply by giving CDS examination which is conducted twice a year. And for this examination you can also apply in final year of graduation or after it. Age limit for this is 19-25 years. 

2.Non-UPSC Entry:There are 2 types of entry in Non-UPSC: 

       

       (i). NCC Entry:For this entry you need 50% fo marks in your Graduation and should have NCC 'C' certificate with 'B' Grade. Age limit is 19-25 years.

        (ii).JAG Entry: Only for Law graduate conducted twice a year. Minimum 55% in LLB and should also be elligible for Bar Council. Age Limit is 21-27 years.

3. SSC Tech Entry: Only for womens of Engineering graduates which is also conducted twice a year. Age limit 20-27 is years.
