Some information about Lonar Lake:

Considered a natural wonder, the Lonar Lake was formed 50,000 years ago, when a meteor weighing 2 million tonnes hit the Earth at a speed of 90,000 kmph. Lonar Lake has a mean diameter of 1.2 km and is about 137 m below the crater rim. The meteor crater rim is about 1.8 km in diameter. It is one of the four known "hyper-velocity, imports craters in basalti rock anywhere on Earth. The other three basaltic impact structures are in Southern Brazil.

Some Reasons Behind the Change in Colour:

1:- During the lockdown phase, there may not has been any disturbance to water which led to this change may be.

2:- Due to Nisarg Cyclone which causes Halobacteria and Teunonali salina bacteria could be the potential for the change in colour.

And some other estimated that there should be some other reasons:- Anand Mishra who is connected with different scientists said " The changing whether is affecting the lake. This cause colour changes in lake".
